1. Sign up and set up
A workspace is the place your team's projects live. It is usually your company or your team. This page shows the three ways you arrive in one: as the first person on a new install, through an invitation, or with an account that has no workspace yet.
If you are the first person on a new install
- Open the address of your AlianHub. On a new install it opens Set up AlianHub.
- Fill in First name, Last name, Email and Password. The password needs an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.
- Type a Workspace name.
- Pick what your team mainly does. This only chooses which sample project and templates come first. You can change it later.
- Leave Start with a sample project ticked if you want something to look at. You can remove it later.
- Select Create workspace.
You are signed in as the owner of the install. You do not need to check your email.
If someone invited you
You do not make a workspace. Open the link in your invitation. It says "You're joining" and the workspace name. Fill in your name and password and select Continue. Then log in. See Bring people in.
If you made your account somewhere else
If you have an account but no workspace, AlianHub asks you to Name your workspace.
- Type a name. Use at least 3 characters.
- Pick a Team size and select Continue.
- Pick what your team mainly does, then select Open my workspace. To start with nothing in it, choose Skip — start blank instead.
If AlianHub says "Verify your email first", open the link we sent you, then log in. Resend email sends it again.
What you see next
A page called One last step asks you to connect an AI app. You can select Skip for now and do it later. See Connect your AI app. Then you land on Home.
