5. Bring people in
A project tool earns its keep when the whole team is in it. This page shows how to invite someone, give them work, and talk to them on a task.
Invite someone
- Open Settings, then Members.
- Select Invite.
- Type one or more email addresses.
- Choose a Role:
- Guest can look around and comment. Cannot create or change anything.
- Member works on projects and tasks day to day.
- Admin can do everything except billing and deleting the company.
- Select Send.
If the email cannot be sent, AlianHub shows a join link to copy and send yourself. Pending people show as "invited" with a resend link.
The Invite button shows only if your role allows inviting.
An invited person opens the link, sets a name and password, then logs in. Being invited puts them in the workspace. It does not put them in a project.
Assign a task
Open the task. In Details, select Assignee and pick a person. You only see people who can work on that project.
Comment
Open the task, find Activity, and select Comments. Type your note. Enter sends it. Shift and Enter start a new line.
Mention someone
In a comment, type @. A list titled People to mention opens. Keep typing a name, then pick it. The person gets it in their Inbox.
